Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, my bloggy friends!  Here's the last of my Easter projects! :)

These Cadbury eggs are a favorite of mine and my bestie.  I bought a big 1 pound bag and put half of it in a cello bag (the other half I ate... muhahahahaha!)  The sentiment is another one by Scrappy Moms.  Really got a good use out of this stamp set!

Re-constructed Easter card

Have you guys seen the Hallmark line of cards that are made to look like they were made by hand?  Obviously, they're not the stuff that all of us create... you can still see that they're partly mass produced with factory machines.  But last year my MIL sent us one of those cards for Easter.  I thought the pop-dotted eggs were cute, so I saved the card to re-constuct one this year... AND THEN I SENT IT BACK TO HER! Lol!!!

I just cut out the panel with the eggs.  The Happy Easter "stamp" was already printed on there.  I added a white card base, some SU Rich Razzleberry card stock and paper, and a Crushed Curry polka dotted ribbon.  The colors matched the eggs perfectly. :)  Wish I took a picture of the "before" card.

Simple Easter Cards and a Thank You!

Thank you so much for replying to last night's post about the crap bar/restaurant.  It was nice to hear that I was right.  I DID write that bad Yelp review!  Link to my reviews here: http://www.yelp.com/user_details?userid=eQz9DWK9PAo9r9ZJ6vsFKA
Add me if you're on there!

Whew! Well, not going to let that ruin my Fishy Friday!  I only do fish every Friday from Ash Wednesday to Easter and this is the last Fishy Friday! And what better way to celebrate than to show you some CAS Easter cards I made? :)

Everything is Stampin Up.  I used watercolor paper, SU ink, and blender pen to color.

He's super cute in yellow!

Easter for the kids

I try to make something for my students at every major holiday.  Easter is no exception!  I figure I gave them a lot of candy for St. Pattys and for Valentine's so I was on the hunt for pencils and erasers.  Found some cute ones at our "dollar store" (everything is MORE than a dollar. LOL!) and packaged them up:

Used SU cello bags to hold the pencil.

The topper is just super simple.  A SU stamp, SU punches, and a little Easter eraser added with a glue dot.  I should have no more excuses of "I didn't do my work because I didn't have a pencil."  >_<

Entering this in the following challenges:
Creative Craft Challenges - Anything but a card

I work with 3 other teachers as well, so I made them this easy goody bag filled with sustaining treats!

'Till tomorrow night when the new PTT challenge goes live! :D

Shirl's March Swap (Spring)

So, if you don't know by now, Shirl hosts these great monthly card swaps at her blog.   She pairs us up, we make something cute that goes along with the theme, and we send it away to our friends far and away.  This month my swapper is Leanne (Lilo).   The theme was Spring.  I just got my new Stampin Up Everybunny Stamp set and wanted to try it out on her card.  Here it is:

Colored the bunnies with Copics.  Sponged the edges with SU ink.  Cardstock, paper, ribbon, pearls, and framelit die cut all by SU.

Love these bunnies! :D

Entering this in the following challenges:

On a personal note, zombie toe is all healed up! Hooray!  I've even got a little baby toe nail growing.  I'm pretty proud of it considering I had to sign a waiver saying that I can't sue if the nail doesn't grow back.  Eep!  Lol, I was already researching fake toenails!

See you guys tomorrow, I've got a special post! :D Peace, love, and Sabo kisses!

He "helped" me write this post... NOT!

It's Tuesday!!!!  That means there's a brand spankin' new challenge over at PTT!  This week our challenge is monochrome!

Here's my card!

My digi is by The Stamping Boutique.  Isn't she adorable?  Her name is Fairy Cynthia - Easter.  Inked her up with just pink and yellow Copic markers.  Paper is by Robin's Nest.  Not sure if you can see it, but it has a tremendous amount of glitter on it!  :) Everything else is SU except for the stamp.
