Sunsational Stamps - Jacob Black

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! I'm here on this awesome Tuesday with my DT project! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Ancient Critters.  I think this guy is supposed to be some kind of arctic wolf creature? LOL I don't even know! He looked like a wolf to me and I needed a card to send the owner of the Jacob Black house in La Push, where I stayed the other weekend. I colored him up with colored pencils, so he had a fur type look to him. Plus I knew that wolf Jacob has many different colors of fur, and I wanted to blend them seamlessly. I added more features to his eyes (eyeliner, nose) so he looked more like Jacob. The sentiment reads, "sometimes I think you like me better as a wolf." - Jacob Black, which is a quote from the book, Eclipse.

Sunsational Stamps May Release Blog Hop

For my project I used the image called The Future Looks Bright. You can find it in the store here. 

This is what I created with it:

I colored him with Prisma colored pencils so he looked "feathery." I also made my own tassel using embroidery floss.  Paper is by Basic Grey - Hey Boy. Cardstocks and candy dot is by Stampin Up.

Sunsational Stamps - Polar Bear Christmas

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! I'm here on this awesome Tuesday with my DT project! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Arctic Critters.  I simply inked the polar bear up with just a few Copic markers.  I punched him out, along with other white circle punches, and sponged them with some Soft Sky ink - so they look like snowballs! Paper, cardstock, inks, and sentiment stamp are all Stampin Up. Sequins are from Calypso's Cards on Etsy, and the pom pom trim is just some after Christmas stuff I got from Hallmark.

Sunsational Stamps - Castle Card

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! I'm here on this awesome Tuesday and its my turn to post on the Blog! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week! 

I used the stamp set Once Upon a Time Critters.  I inked up the castle with my Copics and cut it out. I made some brick texture using my colorless blender. Brushed silver cardstocks, paper, and gems are from Stampin Up. I hand-wrote the sentiment which says, "Have a MAGICAL day!"

Sunsational Stamps - Unfroggetable

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! Its Tuesday, which means its my turn to post on the Sunsational Stamps blog!

I used the stamp set Once Upon a Time Critters.  I inked up the cutie frog with my Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up on a lily pad I made using just and oval punch and cut out a wedge.  Punches, paper, cardstock, and pearl are all by Stampin Up.  The sentiment reads, "Have an un-frog-gettable Birthday!"

1st Design Team Post for SunSational Stamps

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans!  I'm here on this awesome Tuesday with my first DT project! I'll be posting every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Once Upon a Time Critters.  I inked up the cutie dragon with my Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up on some vellum and stuck it on a card made with brushed silver cardstock, scalloped ribbon, and sentiment stamp from Stampin Up, paper from DCWV Timeless Type stack, and some sequins.  I also added some stickles to his horns and wings.
