Rottweiler Card - Aloha Friday With Kitty Bee

Happy Aloha Friday!!!  Our challenge this time at Kitty Bee is Animals.  We are sponsored this fortnight by Bugaboo Stamps.

Be sure to stop by the Kitty Bee blog and check out what the rest of the DT have created! Here's my project:
I used a digi by Bugaboo called Rottweiler Squares.  It actually didn't print right - It was supposed to be a trio of Rottweilers in squares.  This is the only one that came out. No worries! I colored him with Copics and used him singly on my card.  Paper is by Basic Grey, cardstock and ribbon is by Stampin Up.

Custom Card Monday

I had a friend who was meeting his girlfriend's kids for the first time.  He was traveling from the US to Thailand to meet them.  Here is one of the cards I made for him to take to Thailand:

I used an image from Bugaboo and made it look like her using some pictures he showed me.  Inked it up with Copics. Both papers are from Making Memories Big Kids paper pad. I embossed the frame using a SU framelit die.  He asked me to put "Greetings From the USA" and "Nice to Meet You, Auey" on it and make sure to put something about music and dancing because thats what she likes.  So I have the ballet shoes on there and printed some musical notes and popped that up as well.  All cardstock is by SU. Added some twine from The Twinery too.

New Monthly Challenge at Scribbles Designs!

We've got a new challenge over at Scribbles Designs!  This month, we want to see your CAS cards! Here's my project:

We are sponsored by Bugaboo! I used a Bugaboo image call Mermaid (I loved this digi so much that I used her twice in a row! See my previous post).  The Happy Birthday sentiment is a Scribbles Designs image (I just LOVE the hand drawn fonts that Sandy creates!). I embossed the card base with the SU honeycomb folder and added a strip of ruffled ribbon. A backing to the sentiment completes the card.

Update at PTT: New challenge, a tribute to Jen Scull, and new DT members!

There's a new challenge over at Party Time Tuesdays!  This week, is anything goes + use kraft paper!  We are generously sponsored this week by Bugaboo Images and The Kraft Outlet sent us some yummy kraft paper to work with too.  Here's my project:

Inked up the Bugaboo image with Copics.  Kraft and vanilla colored paper and yellow baker's twine by The Kraft Outlet.  Polka dot ribbon and red cardstock by SU.

This card was sent to a fellow Party Time Tuesday DT member, Jen Scull.  A couple of months ago our dear friend Jen found out that she had breast cancer.  She had to step down from DT duties to go through extensive chemotherapy.  We all made these cards as a tribute to her and sent them her way.  Hopefully it'll help her smile through difficult times.  You can read about Jen's story over at Party Time Tuesdays and it'll be nice to leave her a sweet message on her blog. :)  We love you, Jen!

Another celebration is our newest DT members!  Check out Michelle, Dana Joy, Britt, and Melissa's projects at the PTT blog!
