Aloha guys!  Theres a new challenge over at Party Time Tuesdays! We have a color inspiration challenge:

We are sponsored this week by Flonz Stamps, LEJ designs, The Paper Parade, 3 Girl Jam, and Sassy Studio designs.  Here's my project:

Frenchie digi by Sassy Studio Designs.  Love her! Inked her up with Copics.  Paper and beautiful sticker is from Robin's Nest.  Happy Birthday sentiment is by Stampin Up.  I also threw in some staples.  I always feel like banner sentiments need something along the edge.

New Challenge at Lia Stampz!

Hey guys! there's a new challenge over at Lia Stampz!  This fortnight, make a thank you card!

The winner of this challenge will get this digi called Blue Tit Bird.  I inked him with Copics.  I cut him out with a SU framelit die and them added an embossed oval die cut in the back of it (cut in half).  The paper is from a DCWV All About Boys stack.  Sponged everything yellow.  Stamps and punches are SU.  Bakers twine is from my LSS.

Turkey Trot Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Turkey Trot Blog Hop! With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we wanted to squeeze in a hop dedicated to those fabulous, and delish birds and all that we all thankful for!  Today we have a talented group of crafters showcasing their Turkey Day projects! Some might be of Turkeys, some might be of Thanksgiving Day traditions, some may just be about family.  But they all will be fabulous!

If you are here just to visit me (aw, you're so sweet!), you can start the hop off with Colleen. :)

Here's my turkey/Thanksgiving projects!

Made some punch art turkeys out of the Stampin Up owl punch, retired 5 petal flower punch, and scallop punch.

This one was a CASE from Inkspired Treasures. I don't have that die set, so I just made a top note on a square (rounded corner) card.  Love the look of the two tone corn! Its from Stampin Up's Perfectly Preserved set.  Used the matching framelit dies to cut them out.

This last one is an oldie but goodie.  The stamp set is a hostess set called Four Seasons from Stampin
Up.  Good old rock n' roll technique, some punches, and I got myself a quick wreath!

How about some blog candy?

Melissa, from KaDoodle Bug Designs has been kind enough to offer a $15 GC (reg prices, not sale) to www.kadoodlebugdesigns.com.

New challenge at PTT - Thanksgiving!

Good Morning my wonderful bloggy peeps!  Today is Tuesday...which means its time for a new challenge at Party Time Tuesday!  This time we're doing the Thanksgiving thing!

Our sponsors this week are Flonz stamps, The Stamping Boutique, Dts Art, and 3 Girl Jam!  Here's my project:

I was sent the cherry blossom stamp from Flonz stamps.  Gorgeous! I colored it simply with a reddish brown Copic marker.  I used some yummy paper from Paper Parade.  I distressed all the edges, including my Crumb Cake SU card stock.  The sentiment stickers are from Paper Parade as well.

A long overdue thank you

I haven't been around much lately, on my blog, on Facebook, OUTSIDE.  LOL.  I'm getting things ready for my December craft fairs and I'm working my hands to the bone in my craft room all day, everyday.  This is my first craft fair experience and I honestly didn't think it was going to be this difficult.  I give mucho props to people who do this every season!

Anywho, since I've been a walking zombie, I haven't been checking my mail often (I'm coming clean! I'm sorry, Mr. Mailman!) I found this in my mailbox this week:

Diana from DL. Art sent me some Halloween happy mail!  I got a cute HK card and an awesome HK shirt. :) And it fits perfectly!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Diana for the happy mail.  It couldn't have come at a better time. You made my whole week!

And thank you, not only to Diana but all my bloggy buddies who come and visit me and comment on my blog even when I don't have time to comment on yours.  I will make time after this and start dinner a bit late so I can go back and see what you guys have done the past couple of weeks.  I'm hoping that since I'm not working full time at the elementary school (I was working extra hours to cover someone), I'll have more time to blog and comment and make some cards instead of craft fair stuff.  Plus I need to share pics of those with you guys too. ;)

Be back later with my Party Time Tuesday post.  Love you all!

New Challenge for Party Time Tuesdays

Okay, I know its Thursday... I totally forgot to do my post for Party Time Tuesdays!  EEK! It's been kinda hectic in my house and I seriously have zombie brain. :/ The theme this week is Thank You cards and you have until next Tuesday to enter our challenge!

We are sponsored this week by The Paper Shelter, Kenny K Downloads, The Paper Parade, Crafty Ribbons, and The Crafty Pad.  Here is my project:

The digi is from Crafty Sentiments.  I inked her up with Copic markers.  The paper and sticker sentiment is some gorgeous stuff sent to us from The Paper Parade.  Just put it on some Crumb Cake SU card stock and added some SU linen thread and this card was good to go.
