Challenge 56 - Monochrome

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and is spending their New Years with family and friends!  I'm actually going to see the ball drop in NYC (on my bucket list!) so this post is scheduled. :D  I'll have some pics sooner or later!

Anywho, There's a new challenge at Lia Stampz this fortnight! We want to see your monochrome projects!

Here is my project:

I used the digi called Chemistry.  Colored him with Copics.  He's so stinkin cute, I've been coloring him every year for Valentine's cards!  The paper is from a new Stampin Up paper stack called Fresh Prints.  LOVE the little dab of coastal cabana in back of the red polka dots! Used Stampin Up card stock, twine, heart punch, dies, and rhinestone.  The sentiment just says, "I heart You." :D

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

Scribbles Midway Project - Shades of White

Its Dec 31! Which means we're halfway through our Scribbles Designs challenge!  This month, we want to see your Shades of White projects. Here's my midway project:

I used the image called All Hearts Come Home.  Love Sandy's penmanship! Didn't have to do much to this digi! I just cut it out using some dies and popped them up on each other.  I stamped some Stampin Up whisper white card stock with some red and green hearts.  Added a few punched hearts (popped up) with tiny rhinestones.  Done!

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us!

Wanna get this digi or any other of Scribble's designs? Check out the Scribbles Designs store!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

12 Days of Christmas - 3x3 Card Sets - MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! Its the final day of my 12 Days of Christmas series! Whoopie!!!

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the 12th day of Christmas I created 3x3 card sets:

Mini 3x3 card sets are probably my bread and butter of my Etsy shop.  I am constantly making these!  I have made tons, but these were the most popular this season.

Paper by Basic Grey 25th and Pine.  Stampin Up card stock, ink, framelit die, and rhinestone.

Created a punch art wreath out of scallop circle and circle punches.  Added some liquid pearls and ribbon to finish them off!

Thanks so much for hanging out with my during my 12 days of Christmas series!  If you missed a day or two, you can scroll down and see all of the Christmas items I posted.  :) I actually went to visit family  for Christmas and am not near a computer (oOoOOoooO eerie posting this in the future!) but I'll be making it back on Christmas day so I can comment on your blogs! Mahalo for reading and Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the 11th day of Christmas I created this Cricut card!

This cutie penguin was cut from Create a Critter.  Just popped him up on some Basic Grey 25th and Pine paper.  Baker's twine and a punched out sentiment finish it off.

I masked and sponged the sky.  The stamp is from the Stampin Up stamp set called Lovely as a Tree.  Added glitter to the tree tops and on the ground.  Sentiment is from a photopolymer set.  I also made a bunch of these and this went out to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers for the month of November (I send them a card every month)!

The paper, card stock, punch, glitter, and twine are all Stampin Up.  I added silver liquid pearls to all the chrome parts of the bike.  Added a black diamond dew drop to finish it off.

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the 8th day of Christmas I created this present card!

I like to keep cards of all different price ranges in my shop so off I went to make a really simple and inexpensive one.  I just used some paper from DCWV Le Tres Chic stack that I thought looked like poinsettias.  Added some Stampin Up taffeta ribbon and a cute sentiment, and I was done!

12 Days of Christmas - Oodles of Gift Tags!

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! Well, not yet, but there are 5 MORE DAYS 'till Christmas!!!  I've been a crazy holiday craft machine.  I've been stocking my Etsy shop since October with holiday cards, tags, and other paper products.  Now with 12 days left until Christmas, I thought that I would share the best sellers here on my blog. :) I'll be posting once per day until the 25th!

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the 7th day of Christmas I created some gift tags!

These were easy: Just covered some manila tags with paper from the Fabulous Christmas stack.  Used a Stampin Up photopolymer set for the banner.  Added a paper reinforcement, rhinestone, and baker's twine.

I used the Stampin Up Chalk Talk framelits to make these.  Paper is from The paper Studio All Seasons II Stack.  Stamps, ribbon, ink, and twine are all Stampin Up.

More covered manila tags.  More paper from Fabulous Christmas stack.  The stamp is from the Happy Hour set from Stampin Up.  I bought the larger red clips from Etsy.

Also made a tag set! Everything is retired Stampin Up product that I got on sale and I just added little embellishments like new stamped greetings, rhinestones, and ribbon or twine.

Stamped on these manila tags for a vintage Christmas look.  I used several Stampin Up stamp sets that had snowflakes.  Everything is Stampin Up on this one (except the manila tags). Loved the color combo!

Hope you liked my 7th installment of The 12 Days of Christmas! See you tomorrow!

I'm a fan of the belly band!  Stamp is from a retired Stampin Up set called Tags til Christmas. I got great  use out of this set over the years.

Here is another style.  I also made these with penguins, snowmen, and reindeer on the front.  I used the retired Stampin Up stamp set called No Peeking.

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the fourth day of Christmas I have a Warm Winter Wishes card:

Sometimes I'll get a request for a custom card.  Some of them are really wacky, but this one was really fun to make! This sweet guy wanted to get a Christmas card for his Mom who likes the beach.  This is what I came up with! I used all Stampin Up card stocks.  The paper is from Basic Grey's 25th and Pine stack.  The beach die cut is from Pack Your Bags, the crab is from Create a Critter, and the santa hat is from Pooh and Friends.  Added lots of stickles! I used regular stickles for the lights on the tree and SU glitter gel for the sand.  It gives it a sugary texture!

Happy 12 Days of Christmas!

On the third day of Christmas I made a set of small Christmas tags:

Used various Stampin Up stamps and punches on this set.  I used two old retired sets called Tags Til Christmas and Gifted.  The center circle one was from a current photopolymer stamp set.  Just added some sticky strip to the back of them and they were good to go!

Hope you liked my third installment of The 12 Days of Christmas!
(I have a few sets of these left in my shop, if you'd like to purchase one!)

On the second day of Christmas I created some Cards from kits:

This first one is a Stampin Up card kit that was sold in the holiday catalog! LOVED the coastal cabana color with the red and green. :) I made a bunch of these guys in under half an hour! Love!

This second card is from the November Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin! This too, was so easy to do! 4 cards in under 15 minutes!

The Paper Pumpkin kit came with so much star garland that I could make some mini cards for my Etsy shop.  Just added some The Robin's Nest red card stock. :)

The 12 Days of Christmas - Felt Cards

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! Well, not yet, but there is 12 MORE DAYS 'till Christmas!!!

On the first day of Christmas I created some felt cards:

I wanted to make a dainty pink Christmas card.  The felt pieces I used for both projects are some retired Stampin Up felt pieces.  I stocked up a few years ago when they went on clearance.  I used vanilla and pink pirouette card stock and topped it with some glitter paper from DCWV Le Tres Chic stack.  I think they look like blue poinsettias!  Stampin up vanilla taffeta ribbon and pearl top it off.  The stamp is from a new Stampin Up photopolymer set.

I used some mitten felt on this one.  The paper is from The Paper Studio All Seasons II.  Just topped it off with Stampin Up crumb cake card stock and taffeta ribbon, pearl, and stamped a sentiment on vanilla card stock (from Happy Hour).

Hope you liked my first installment of The 12 Days of Christmas!
(I have one of the pink ones left in my shop, if you'd like to purchase one! The mitten cards are sold out!)

Scribbles Design Challenge - Midway Project

Its Nov 30! Which means we're halfway through our Scribbles Designs challenge!  This month, we want to see your Remembrance cards and add an (optional) fancy fold. Here's my project:

I used the image called Spring Rain Flowers.  All I did was print them on different shades of green card stocks.  Cut out the middle portion of the big flower and popped it up, to give it dimension.  I added some newsprint paper, stamped on some stems, and added some pearls.  Easy peasy! Love that Sandy's doodle designs are so intricate that you don't really need anything to make the card POP!

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us!
