Happy Thanksgiving Leaves

Here's another Fall project!

I cut out some leaves using various Cricut cartridges.  I also crimped them with my crimper.  Cardstock, paper, twine, stamp, and label punch are all Stampin Up. I also distressed everything with Crumb Cake ink.

Peachy Keen Pumpkins

So I know I said a couple of weeks ago that I was determined to post my Fall/Thanksgiving/Autumn projects. LOL that SO did not happen! I don't even think I got through half of them!

There are a couple of challenges going on with Fall themes, so figured I had the time today to do a quick post and enter! :)

These pumpkins were cut using the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge.  I used some Peachy Keen faces to them! The paper is some retired Stampin Up paper. Also used some SU cardstock, twine, chalk (for cheeks) and gel pen.

Gobble 'Til You Wobble

I'm determined to post my Thanksgiving/Fall cards before Thanksgiving rolls around.  Its not going to be like last year! I know I wasn't on track last year... because I made this card last year and never posted it! LOL Here it is now:

I used the Teddy Bear on Parade cartridge.  Used SU cardstock and retired SU paper.  Also tied on some linen thread.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Turkey Trot Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Turkey Trot Blog Hop! With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, we wanted to squeeze in a hop dedicated to those fabulous, and delish birds and all that we all thankful for!  Today we have a talented group of crafters showcasing their Turkey Day projects! Some might be of Turkeys, some might be of Thanksgiving Day traditions, some may just be about family.  But they all will be fabulous!

If you are here just to visit me (aw, you're so sweet!), you can start the hop off with Colleen. :)

Here's my turkey/Thanksgiving projects!

Made some punch art turkeys out of the Stampin Up owl punch, retired 5 petal flower punch, and scallop punch.

This one was a CASE from Inkspired Treasures. I don't have that die set, so I just made a top note on a square (rounded corner) card.  Love the look of the two tone corn! Its from Stampin Up's Perfectly Preserved set.  Used the matching framelit dies to cut them out.

This last one is an oldie but goodie.  The stamp set is a hostess set called Four Seasons from Stampin
Up.  Good old rock n' roll technique, some punches, and I got myself a quick wreath!

How about some blog candy?

Good Morning my wonderful bloggy peeps!  Today is Tuesday...which means its time for a new challenge at Party Time Tuesday!  This time we're doing the Thanksgiving thing!

Our sponsors this week are Flonz stamps, The Stamping Boutique, Dts Art, and 3 Girl Jam!  Here's my project:

I was sent the cherry blossom stamp from Flonz stamps.  Gorgeous! I colored it simply with a reddish brown Copic marker.  I used some yummy paper from Paper Parade.  I distressed all the edges, including my Crumb Cake SU card stock.  The sentiment stickers are from Paper Parade as well.

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

Blessing Mix

I wanted to make a little treat for my co-workers for Thanksgiving.  I came across Angie Juda's Blessing Mix idea.  Her website is Chic n Scratch and she has many different boxes and bags that she's come up with to package the blessing mix over the years.  I chose this style from 2008.  I wanted something where I didn't need anything to put it together, as these will be eaten without regard to the packaging!  In these two bags, I used brads to close them shut, but I stapled the majority of the bags.

Each bag used one sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper.

A side view.

This mix was so yum!

This was so easy and fun to make that I think this is going to be my Thanksgiving tradition from now on.  :)  How was everyone's Thanksgivings?

Fall leaves card

Happy Thanksgiving! Here's my last Thanksgiving card! :) The digi is from Simply Betty.  LOVE him!  He's so stinkin cute with the little Reptar on his shirt!  Kept the front simple because of the busy-ish background paper with all the text.

He's colored with Copics and Sharpie.

Tomorrow I'll post my last Thanksgiving project.  Have a happy Thanksgiving and hope everyone is full of great yummy things!  If you are heading out tonight or early tomorrow for shopping, please be careful and be safe! I need to get my turkey in the oven!

Even MORE Thanksgiving cards...

...and so continues my last minute Thanksgiving cards!  Here's one with a digi from Beccy's place.  I colored it with (mostly) Copics.  The squash in the basket and the ribbon on the hat are Sharpie.

So fun to color!

I'm really liking the stress relief effect that coloring gives.  And if it's a big digi like this one is, it looks brilliant just plain on a card.  The artwork is what shines without any frilly stuff.

Till Tomorrow!  I'll show you what I'm giving my co-workers today!

Autumn Friendship Card

More late night Thanksgiving cards!  For this one, I used an old stamp I found at a garage sale.  I colored Mr. Scarecrow man with my Copics.

I know it looks like the background paper is the wrong way, but really, there are trees going in every direction.  It just so happens that the scarecrow is covering those trees!

I'm crafting a bunch tonight to finish a project for a 1st birthday.  1st birthdays in Hawaii are a huuuuge deal.  We're talking 300 people here!  Hopefully the majority of it will get done tonight!  'Till the next *Thanksgiving* project!

Turkey Thanksgiving card

Someone asked me to make her a bunch of these turkeys for her daughter's class so I just made a few more extra for myself to slap on a few cards to make quickie Thanksgiving ones.  Not sure what happened with the photo... The light is too bright!!!

gobble gobble.  The sentiment was a make your own sentiment stamp set by Impression Obsession.  Love this set!

I think I'm going to make it in the Thanksgiving card department!  So until the next one!

Scarecrow Thanksgiving Card

I'm a tad behind in my Thanksgiving cards.  I'm doing other projects and my Thanksgiving cards will be a little late this year.  Thankfully, I colored this scarecrow months ago with Sharpies!  (Now that I know about the laws of shadows from my time with Marianne Walker, my coloring of yesteryear just looks BAD!  but I'm desperate for time here so on the card it goes!) I just threw the card together and it was easy peasy.  The digi came from Beccy's Place.

'Till next time!  I'll be sure to post all of my Thanksgiving projects this week!
