New Challenge at Lia Stampz - Summer

It's August 15th! Which means there's a new fortnightly challenge at Lia Stampz!  This fornight, we want to see your Summer projects!

Here is my project:

The image is called Gardening and can be bought at Whimsy Stamps here.   I inked it up with Copics and sponged the background with SU Pool Party ink.  I used the negative of some heart framelit die cuts and adhered some scrap SU paper to the back of it.  More scrap paper is lining the card.  Ribbon is SU (Pool Party) and the sentiment is stamped in Pool Party ink as well (can you tell its my favorite color of the moment?)

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

Lemonade Blog Hop!

Summertime! What's better than kicking back with a cool drink of lemonade?  Pure, sweet, sour, and refreshing all at the same time -- it's a summer staple and something we're celebrating with this Lemonade Blog Hop!

Let me show you my project that I created for this hop:

This was a total CASE from Simple and Sincere.  When I thought of lemonade, I thought of the SU stamp set Tart and Tangy.  So easy and so super cute!  Lemon/Lime stamps, ink, and ribbon are all SU! The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.

How about some BLOG CANDY?? You'll get a complete kit of my July Stampin Up card class! It will have everything you need to create 5 projects with instructions. :D All you have to do is:

1. Be or become a follower of my blog
2. Leave a comment on this post with a way to contact you. That's it!

Our hostess for the Lemonade Blog Hop is Erica of Erica's Craft Room (www.mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com). If you just came here to visit me (aw, you're so sweet!) start back up at her page. :)

Crabby Patty Portfolio

Hey guys!  I'm participating in a beach bash themed BNR this week and wanted to contribute something beachy.  I wanted to make some note cards with some laser die cuts I had so I started trolling the internet to find some ideas of housing them.  I stumbled upon Mandy's Stampin' Spot and CASED her crab.  He's so stinkin' cute! I put him on a notecard portfolio:

Cardstock, ink, ribbon by Stampin Up.  Cuttlebug swiss dot and swirls and curls embossing folders.

The inside houses 4 note cards, envelopes, and sentiment so the recipient can customize their card!

Entering this in the following challenges:

New Challenge at Lia Stampz!

There's a new challenge at Lia Stampz! It's Summer!!!  The design team also got some help today with Jessica guest designing for us as well.  She's so talented and her card came out amazing! Head on over to the Lia Stampz blog to see all of our designer's projects. :)

Here's my card:

The digi is called Lia Photograph.  Very simple card because I wanted to feature Lia's new PAPER!!!  It's still being worked on and discussed in the cutting room, so we were given it's digi files so we could see how well they worked.  Isn't it gorgeous???  Don't forget to check out the blog to see the other papers. :)

Inked the image up with Copics.  Cardstock, ink, and pearls by SU! Paper by Lia Stampz.  Sentiment by Scrappy Moms.

Entering this in the following challenges:

Melon shaped card

I bought a HUGE watermelon at the grocery store and eating it this week (by myself, mind you!) has put me in a watermelon card making mood!

(click for larger image)

The watermelon is from Stretch Your Imagination cartridge and I used my Gypsy to weld two postage stamp shapes from Gypsy Wanderings.  All paper and card stock is by SU!

I liked it so much that I made a look-a-like card:
