Aloha Friday Challenge at Kitty Bee!

Happy Aloha Friday!!!  Our challenge this time at Kitty Bee is Favorite Color Combo. We are also sponsored this month by Dillybeans!

Be sure to stop by the Kitty Bee blog and check out what the rest of the DT have created! Here's my project:

My favorite color combo is pink, yellow, and either green or blue. I used the digi called Amalia Ballerina by Dillybeans.  Inked her up with Copics.  The paper is from the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan stack.  Cut her out with a Spellbinders die and added some hemp twine I got off of Etsy.  I used some of CalypsosCards (on Etsy) sequins.

Can't wait to see what you guys create! Don't forget to see what's what in the Kitty Bee etsy shop!

Welcome to the Think in Pink Blog Hop!

Hey guys! Today is National Pink day, so we are celebrating with all things PINK!!!!

You should have arrived from Pam's blog. If you are here because you're visiting me (aw, you're so sweet!), head on over to Jessi’s to start the hop.

Jessi has some awesome candy over at her blog but remember to follow everyone’s blog and comment to be entered in the giveaway!

I'm also giving away my own blog candy! Read on to see what it is!

Here is my PINK project:

Inked up with Copics. Cut out with my SU framelits die. SU stamp, ink, taffeta ribbon, card stock, and background paper. Glossy Accents on her boots and SU dazzling diamonds on her wings.

She is an image from Tiddlyinks! Love her. :)

Stamped this 3 times in 3 different inks. Then used dimensionals to pop up all the layers. Super 3D!

How about some BLOG CANDY???

I'm giving away everything you need to make all the projects that I had for my June Card Class!!! So that's 5 project kits. I'm also including 2 full sheets of instructions with color photos. :D All you need to do is: 1) Be a follower of my blog 2) Leave a comment with a way to contact you (very important if you do not have a blog). May RAKs and Winner of the Mother's Day hop!

Whew!  This past week was not only busy, busy, busy, but I also caught a cold.  Yikes!  I still managed to make it to work this week, but ended up trying to sleep off my ickiness the rest of the time.  Can you believe I didn't make anything crafty in about a week and a half?! My fingers are getting itchy!

Anywho, here are some RAKs I received this month. :) I got a lot of happy mail for my blogaversary!  Love these ladies!

This one is from Shar from My Time to Create.  She used her new Cameo!

She made this cute envelope too... and it had HELLO KITTY STAMPS IN IT!!!  wheee! Thanks girl!

This one is from Diana of DL.Art.  Love the shabby chic colors and that yummy twine.

This one is from Shirl of Creations by Shirl.   Always love getting her cards in the mail.  This chickadee is too cute!

This one is from Susan of Cricut and Grasshopper.  Love the fold of this card! Plus she sent me a bunch of yummies from Minnesota.  I ate them all so no pictures of them.  LOL.

Lori from Reflections from Granny made this cutie card. It had so much dimension!

And this was in her package too!!!  How insanely cute is this?! :) I didn't even realize my name was in the middle! It's now up in my craft room. :) Thanks girlie!

And last, but not least, is this calendar made by Cyndi of Strawberries n' Cream. Love my starlet self! :) She even sent me a few mini calendars for me to play with. :D

I'm so blessed to call these ladies friends.  They are so generous and SO talented.  Thank you again for being a part of my blogaversary. :)

And without further ado, the winner from last weekend's Mother's Day blog hop:

#14 FAITH, HOPE, AND CHERRY TEA!!!

Congratulations! I've sent you a message!

More dirty watercolor and mail from Scrappy Mom's

More sympathy cards today and more dirty watercolor.  This digi is from Beccy's Place and she calls it "mum's flowers."  This looks like plumeria to me so I colored it pink because here in Hawaii we have pink and yellow plumerias. :) I like the pink ones.

I'm kinda silly and didn't match my pinks even though I have all the SU! colors.  I think I just had a brain fart from so many sympathy cards.

On a happier note, my prize from Scrappy Moms came in the mail!  Woohoo! Check this out:

I do not own any of her stamp sets but these look like high quality H2O!   I can't wait to make a card with them.  I won the Spring Fling stamp set and spring is over but I'm thinking I could make at least one of these sentiments work.  And I'm really excited about the pink acrylic blocks!!!  It wasn't as pink as I thought it was going to be which makes it just pink enough for a pinkaholic to have but not too pink that it distracts from seeing your image.   And I dig the shape/finger grips!

Tomorrow I'm participating in an Autism walk.  Waking up early and super excited about it! :) Have a great weekend, my online pals!

'Till next time!

Wedding card matching invitation

My bestie's grandmother asked me to make her a card for a wedding she's attending.  She gave me the invitation for inspiration:
(The flowers didn't come with the invite; I just put them there for privacy purposes!)

The design reminded me of some SU! paper I had so I created this card using similar colors:

Simple wedding card with white satin ribbon

It came together super easy and the prints matched so well!  Hope granny likes it! Till next time, folks!
