Chocolate Card - Scribbles Fancy Fold or Shaped Challenge

Its October 15! Time for some new design team projects! We have a new challenge over at Scribbles Designs!  This month, our theme is "Fancy Fold or Shaped Cards."

PSSSST. Did you know that Scribbles Designs regularly gives away FREEBIES?! "Like" our Facebook page to get all the news!

Here's my project:

I used the digi called "Chocolate." Since the digi was so small (because my card is so small!), I used colored pencils instead of Copics to get to the tiny corners.  I used a gel pen to fill in the words on the chocolate bar.  Paper, cardstock, ink, sequin trim, and ribbon is Stampin Up. The sentiment says, "sometimes chocolate is the best therapy" and that stamp is by My Pink Stamper.

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us! And did you know that there are freebie digis on the Scribble's blog?! Check em out!

Wanna get this digi or any other of Scribble's designs? Check out the Scribbles Designs store!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

That Girl...She's SEW fly!

Even though I'm still at jury duty all day, I still have the evenings to work on all of my pending projects! I'm glad that craft fair season is over and I can stop making (and re-making) the same things and get started on being creative again and restocking my Etsy shop and retail orders with pretty cards.  I wanted to play around with some retired SU rub ons that I've hoarded for just this instance.  Voila!

I used the girlie rub on and just slightly highlighted her with some light colored Copics.  Paper is from the Yarn and Thread stack by The Paper Studio (I don't sew... but this stack is still super cute!).  A couple of card stock and paper scraps, a corduroy ribbon, linen thread, and hand ruffled seam binding ribbon top it all off.

Glad to be back in the saddle!

Linking this up to DL.Art's Anything Goes Linky Party!

Happy New Year! And a New Challenge at Lia Stampz!

Happy New Year my bloggy friends! I'm starting off the new year right and updating my blog! Woohoo!  It's been a very busy year and I'm so very fortunate for everything that happened in 2012.  Can't wait to see what's in store for 2013!

Anywho, there's a new challenge over at Lia Stampz! This fortnight, we want to see your NEW crafty items on your project! Did you get something for Christmas? Treated yourself to some new crafty supplies?  Use 'em and show it to us!

The winner will get this digi called Branson Tub.  Isn't he adorable??? (Lia has a fond obsession with sheep!) Inked with Copics, added some Crystal effects to the water, sponged with some Tempting Turquoise ink from Stampin Up, added some Stampin Up taffeta ribbon.  The new thing is the paper! Whoohoo, love new stacks of paper!  Cut the whole thing out from Stampin Up's framelit dies, which made it a shaped card. :)

Can't wait to see what you guys create!
