I'm hosting a swap on Stampin Connection.  For those of you that can head over there, the url is at http://www.stampinconnection.com/forum/topics/still-open-punny-cards-use-up.  I figured that I would advertise this on my blog for anyone else that can't view that Stampin Connection (you need to be a SU! demo).  It does need to be all SU! products but retired card stocks, inks, stamp sets, etc are all welcome! If you'd like to join, just leave me a comment here and I'll put you on the list.  We have plenty of openings!

***Please keep in mind that these are going to Hawaii.  Regular ground shipping to Hawaii takes usually a week and priority takes 5 days (from the east coast).  And NO, shipping does not cost more to Hawaii!  It's a common myth that it takes an arm and a leg to ship here, but if it is first class or priority, it does not cost extra!

Thanks new blogging friends!

Administrative Professionals Day

I made these cute post-it note holders for the ladies in the office at both of the schools I work at.  They were so easy peasy to make.  I needed to make a TON, so I didn't want to be worrying about covering coasters or binding anything.  Just take a 3.25"x8" piece of card stock, fold in half, crimp the top, and decorate.

Super easy post-it note holders

The best part is that these are mini-sized so I used up all of my bigger scrap pieces.  Stampin Up's punches (circles and scallop circle) makes an easy embellishment.

A blog!

Did I just create a blog?

I'm always tinkering around the internet viewing blogs of crafters and I felt left out.  I want to share my knowledge too!  So here goes; my first blog post!

It wouldn't be a very good post without a picture of some kind of craft so here is a card I made for a friend to give to her 5 year old friend.

I used Create a Critter to make this entire card.  It measures 5.5"x8.5" so this card is massive.  I embossed the tan background with the swiss dots Cuttlebug folder to get a sandy look.  I embossed all the die cuts with stickles!

So, there you have it.  My first blog post!  See you next time!
