Another bewitching card

Happy Halloween my online friends!  Here's another bewitching Halloween card.  I just printed a bunch of these sentiments up at one time and just decided to do a bunch of witch cards.  :) Lol, I still have a few more Halloween projects to post!

LOVE the Martha Stewart Drippy Goo punch!  The image is from Simply Betty.  Pretty sure she was only a buck.  :) More shredded satin ribbon. Loving this technique!!!

New Challenge at Lia Stampz! 3 R's...

There's a new challenge at Lia Stampz!  I know you gals can handle this one: 3 R's... round, raised, ribbon!

For my project, I decided to cover a canister of organic fruit rings for a Halloween treat for my co-worker's son.

Here's the side of it.  I used a HUUUGE black satin ribbon that I've had in my stash for over 10 years!  It's about time I used it!

Showing you the "raised" part of the challenge.  I used half a pack of SU dimensionals.

This cutie digi is called Candy Monkey and you can find him only at Lia Stampz!

Also going to enter this into Little Scrap Piece's Halloween challenge!

Can't wait to see what you gals come up with!

Create a Critter pumpkin card

I actually had this cute little pumpkin in my scraps.  He was in there since last year!  Figured it was about time to dust him off, add some doodle dots and a ribbon, and turn him into a 4x4 card!

All paper and cardstock by SU! The bow is actually some satin ribbon that I pulled apart and shredded.

Halloween is a HOOT!

More Halloween projects!!! This weekend will be full of making Halloween treats for co-workers and kiddos on Monday! There aren't enough days in the week!

Here's a card made with a Lia Stampz image called Kiki.  I colored him with Copics and Sharpies and added some Thickers glitter chipboard.

There's a new blog hop coming up too!  Starla from You Could Be Wishing on a Star  is having a birthday/blogaversary/100 follower blog hop!  Starla was in my birthday blog hop in August and she's one talented chica.  Come back on Nov 6 for this awesome fairy themed blog hop!

'Till the next Halloween project! (there are still oodles and oodles!)

Bewitching card

The hubs has a BIG family, so when it comes to holidays, I have to make a lot of cards.  :) I love it!!!

This card has an image from Beccy's Place. If you've never been there, you need to check her out!  She is so generous and lends her digis for free.  Don't forget to respect her art and link back to her whenever you use one. :)

I don't have very many Copics to this date, so I used mostly Sharpies and Bic Mark its on her.  It came out pretty good, considering! Cardstock and paper by SU!, brads are from my stash.

'Till the next Halloween project!

Halloween Bat Card

I originally made this card to coincide with an Outlawz color challenge of rust, mustard, navy, and a glitter embellishment.  Oye, I think I'm a little late!  It's only 8pm here in Hawaii nei, but everyone is asleep and it's Wednesday everywhere else.  I'll post it on the Outlawz anyway.

Bat is cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge.  Made my own background paper with masking and SU! inks.  All cardstock by SU!

Entering these in the following challenges:
Outlawz rust, mustard, navy, and glitter embellishment challenge
Getting Cricky orange and black challenge
Crafty Sentiments no designer paper challenge

'Till the next Halloween project!

Edward Scissorhands

I'm almost done with my Halloween cards! Woohoo!  I got a lot of them done and I just need to finish up a couple more.

I fell in love with Simply Betty's Tim Burton stamps and now that I'm into coloring digis I decided to help their family out and purchase some.

Isn't Johnny Depp so stinkin' adorable??? Digi from Simply Betty, paper and cardstock by SU!

There's a line in the movie where Johnny Depp asks the little boy if he wants to play scissors, paper, stone.  LOL.  Thought it would be funny if I put it on the card.

Entering this in these challenges:
Outlawz greeting challenge - Anything goes
Birthday Sundaes - purple, green, white, black
Crafty Cardmakers - cute with a dark twist

My craft room is getting a bit out of control, so the hubs and I went to get a desk with cabinets for more storage.  I'm soooo in love with it!  There is still a lot of organizing and re-organizing to do.  But my kitty sure appreciated it:

LOTS more Halloween projects to come!

LOL, didn't realize my card was TILTED when I took the picture!!! Gives the photo character! :D

Dawn Griffith's Glitter Queens are coming back together this week with 3 whole days of FALL hopping!  Each of us will showcase several stamp sets or products that have either a Fall, Halloween, or Thanksgiving theme.

Hopefully you arrived from Jennifer's page. If you're just stopping by to visit me (aw, you're so sweet!), please be sure to go back to the start of the hop at Dawn's page.  Be sure to visit all of the Glitter Queens during the whole hop for more project ideas and chances to win BLOG CANDY!  Just in case you missed someone along the way, links to the all of the Glitter Queen blog hoppers can be found below in order from beginning to end.

My third project is a thank you card (fall colors, thanksgiving inspired)!

I used the Faith in Nature stamp set which you can only get as a hostess reward.

Now, how about some BLOG CANDY?

I'm giving away everything needed to make your own tin (from yesterday's project)!  You'll get 8 6x6 double sided sheets of designer paper, card stock, note pad, mini gel pen, punch outs, flowers, a sampling of the pearls and rhinestones, binder clip, and the tin!  All you really need is your own adhesive and there will be enough "extras" after you create your tin to make something else!  The papers and tin are retired, so the only place you can get it is by winning on my blog!

Rules: You need to be a follower to win; and you'll also have 3 chances!  I will be posting 3 different projects this week (Monday-Wednesday).  Just leave a comment on each post for each day and you can get up to 3 entries for the candy! My second project is an easily reproducible Halloween card!

This cutie is from the Warmest of Wishes stamp set, another hostess reward. :)

Fall Glitter Queens Blog Hop!

Many of you know Dawn Griffith, who is a wonderful Stampin Up! Demo with her own online Stamping Studio with TONS of YouTube videos featuring Stampin Up! products.  Her videos were SO helpful when I first started crafting and she introduced me to the world of SU! :)  I am proud to be one of her Glitter Queens!

Anywho, her Glitter Queens are coming back together this week with 3 whole days of FALL hopping!

My first project are two tins that I altered for a couple of gals with October birthdays!

I used some SU! tins and papers that are now retired and also personalized them.

Here's what they look like inside.  There is a pad of paper and a pen on the left and 3 note cards on the right.

The notecards were all decorated by using the stamp set Tagtastic, which you can get as a hostess reward.

Very simple design using a stamp from Tagtastic, the curly label punch, and some pearls.

Very simple design using a stamp from Tagtastic, scallop punch and circle punches, and rhinestones.

Very simple design using a stamp from Tagtastic, scallop border punch, and rhinestones.  Don't you love that tricycle riding bear!?

CAS Outlawz Challenge

I've been a naughty Outlaw and have been neglecting the challenges!!!  I was off this week from work (fall intercession for kids means I don't work! Woohoo!) and I managed to get back on track, craft-wise.  My scrap bin was looking mighty hefty, so I decided to use some of those up too.  The challenge was a CAS card but also use something that hasn't been used yet or has been hardly used.  I decided to use a dimensional sticker from a package of K&Co stickers I got at a garage sale... a year ago!

If you'd like to participate in the 1000 member Outlaw party, you can register and start playing!
Here's the link.

'Till next time! I'll be doing another Glitter Queen Fall Hop starting on Monday! Can't wait!

Completed Bestie's birthday gift

Here is the completed gift I gave my bestie!  I put everything in a clear paint can!

(you can click on the picture to get a GOOD VIEW!)

It needed something else, so I took the Happy Birthday sign that Donna made me from Kindred Kreations and stuck it in there.  Perfect! (I was hoarding it, but figured it would be going to a good "cause!" LOL!

The flowers were hand cut and doodled on, because to be honest, my craft desk is a mess and the other day I just wanted to cut them out by hand instead of cleaning up and then using the Cricut.  Lol! The money holder I made is stuck in the back somewhere (can you find it?).  There is also a new makeup brush set, stickers, 4 necklaces, and her favorite candies!  She loved everything! And it's something different than the same old gift wrap or bag with tissue paper.

Also going to enter this at Decorate to Celebrate!

'Till next time!

Bestie Birthday Money Holder

Here's another part of my bestie's gift that I will give to her on Thursday: a money holder!  I kept the butterfly theme.  I got the dimensions from my upline's blog Dawn Griffith's Stampin Thoughts.

Closed.  The butterfly looks like it'll flutter away!

Opened with the belly band. Everything is SU! Except for the $20, of course.  That's mine!

This will go into her gift.  Won't post that until after she's seen it, though!

Until then!

It's my bestie's birthday!!!

It's my bestie's birthday!  We're not celebrating until Thursday, so I sent her this card so she could have something in the mail on her actual birthday:

She likes pink with blue and butterflies.  ;) Everything by stampin up except for the two brown butterfly stamps which I got at a garage sale.

I have some other projects that I'll be working on for her that I'll be giving her on Thursday so I'll keep you guys posted. :) And my back is feeling a little better! Woohoo!
