Chocolate Card - Scribbles Fancy Fold or Shaped Challenge

Its October 15! Time for some new design team projects! We have a new challenge over at Scribbles Designs!  This month, our theme is "Fancy Fold or Shaped Cards."

PSSSST. Did you know that Scribbles Designs regularly gives away FREEBIES?! "Like" our Facebook page to get all the news!

Here's my project:

I used the digi called "Chocolate." Since the digi was so small (because my card is so small!), I used colored pencils instead of Copics to get to the tiny corners.  I used a gel pen to fill in the words on the chocolate bar.  Paper, cardstock, ink, sequin trim, and ribbon is Stampin Up. The sentiment says, "sometimes chocolate is the best therapy" and that stamp is by My Pink Stamper.

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us! And did you know that there are freebie digis on the Scribble's blog?! Check em out!

Wanna get this digi or any other of Scribble's designs? Check out the Scribbles Designs store!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

Sunsational Stamps - Jacob Black

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! I'm here on this awesome Tuesday with my DT project! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Ancient Critters.  I think this guy is supposed to be some kind of arctic wolf creature? LOL I don't even know! He looked like a wolf to me and I needed a card to send the owner of the Jacob Black house in La Push, where I stayed the other weekend. I colored him up with colored pencils, so he had a fur type look to him. Plus I knew that wolf Jacob has many different colors of fur, and I wanted to blend them seamlessly. I added more features to his eyes (eyeliner, nose) so he looked more like Jacob. The sentiment reads, "sometimes I think you like me better as a wolf." - Jacob Black, which is a quote from the book, Eclipse.

And me in front of Jacob's house! :)

Hope you liked my project! Go here to visit the Sunsational Stamps shop!

Midway through our Scribbles Designs Challenge

We're halfway through our challenge over at Scribbles Designs!   This month, our theme is "Cats and Kittens."

Here is my midway project:

The image I used is called Cozy! Isn't it so cute? I used Prisma Colored Pencils to color it up.  I added some different colors in there to make the recliner look like its made out of tiny little threads.  Paper is from my scrap stash.  Cardstock and ribbon are by Stampin Up.

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us!

New Challenge at Scribbles Designs - Cats and Kittens!

Its March 15! Time for some new design team projects! We've got a new challenge over at Scribbles Designs!  This month, our theme is "Cats and Kittens."

Here's my project:

I used 2 digis - Kitten in Bowl and Check Meowt.  LOL Sandy is so funny with some of her sentiment stamps! I colored this with Prismacolor Colored Pencils (well, isn't that different?!) I taught a colored pencil class at an art school and figured I should pick myself up a set of my very own. Dies, cardstock, linen thread are all Stampin Up.  Sequins are by our very own Calypso from Calypso's Cards on Etsy.

You don't need a Scribbles image to play, but if you do use a Scribbles image, however, you can enter as many times as you wish.  Go here to play with us! And did you know that there are freebie digis on the Scribble's blog?! Check em out!
