Peachy Keen Pumpkins

So I know I said a couple of weeks ago that I was determined to post my Fall/Thanksgiving/Autumn projects. LOL that SO did not happen! I don't even think I got through half of them!

There are a couple of challenges going on with Fall themes, so figured I had the time today to do a quick post and enter! :)

These pumpkins were cut using the Simply Charmed cricut cartridge.  I used some Peachy Keen faces to them! The paper is some retired Stampin Up paper. Also used some SU cardstock, twine, chalk (for cheeks) and gel pen.

Still trying to get my Father's Day cards posted before Sunday!  This one was my best seller this year:

The soda can is cut from the Fast Food cartridge.  Added a cute Peachy Keen face.  Paper is from Deja Views Home Collection paper stack.  Added some jute twine I got on Etsy.  All cardstock is Stampin Up. Also added some white ink from my Sakura Gelly Roll pen and some pink chalk to the can's cheeks.

New DT Member for Ginger Snap Scraps!

Guess what, guys?

Ginger Snap Scraps

You're looking at the newest DT member for Ginger Snap Scraps! :)

About a month ago, I made a purchase in the Ginger Snap Store and was contacted by owner, Cori.  I thought that part of my order was out of stock and she was emailing me to let me know.  I was floored when she told me she saw my blog and wanted to ask me if I would apply for her design team!  What an honor! Of course I said yes and came up with two cards for my application:

This one actually did double duty.  My aunt needed a card for a baby shower she was attending.  The theme was whales and she wanted the baby's name on it too.  I wanted to make something on the Cricut for my application. Whale from Create a Critter, welded in my Gypsy.  Sponged with SU ink.

I made a computer generated sentiment and punched it out with SU punches and adorned it with SU satin ribbon.

I thought it would be amusing to put the baby on the whale's "splash!" The baby is cut from Sugar and Spice cartridge.  I used a cute Peachy Keen face instead of the cut out face.  Colored the pacifier with Copics.  SU pearls act as buttons.  I added Glossy Accents to the splash to make it more durable.

Entering this card into the following challenges:

Die Cuttin' Divas - Anything Goes
Krafy Girls - Get in Shape
Creative Card Crew - On the Beach/Under the Sea
Anything Goes Challenges - Let's Not Be Square
Crafting For All Seasons - Splash Me
Little Scrap Pieces - Use an Animal
The Stamp Man - Anything Goes Celebration

I also wanted to make a Copic card for my application.  I got this great digi by Robyn's Fetish for winning a challenge a couple of months ago and finally used it.  It's called George Washington.  Inked up with Copics.  Cardstock, paper, stamps, emboss powder, ink, and brads are all SU.

Entering this in the following challenges:
One Stitch at a Time - Use a Digi
My Mum's Craft Shop - Ice Cream Color Combos (Mint Chip)
Cute Card Thursday - So Distressing
The Poodles Parlour - Anything Goes

Wheeee!  I'm so honored that Cori asked me to be apart of her design team.  I can't wait for the first project! :)

Princess Picks

Someone contacted me about making some princesses on picks.  The princesses needed blonde hair and blue eyes, crowns, and wands.  Here's what I came up with:

Aren't they adorable?

Here's a close-up of one of them.

Everything (cardstock, glitter glue, pearls, rhinestones, ink) are by SU! The face is by Peachy Keen.  Cartridge I used is Paper Doll Dress Up.

'Till next time!

CAS 4th of July cards

I had to make a truck load of 4th of July cards and I have no cartridges with 4th of July related items (I have fireworks on Stretch Your Imagination, but I used them last year!) so I CASED a cute Uncle Sam punch art piece from this talented lady at Dostamping with Dawn.

Simple dimple Uncle sam made with 3 SU! punches.  Stars are cricutted from Plantin Schoolbook and embossed in gold.  Paper is by Deja Views and SU! I also used Peachy Keen's funshine faces for his cute little face and chalked his cheeks up.  Sentiment is an old SU! stamp set that I cut up to just say "celebrate."

Even though this is a simple card, I started working on the elements about a month ago!  I made all the Uncle Sams and gold stars a LONG time ago.  Sometimes working in bulk can be time consuming!

All about gratitude

***********Only a day and a half until my giveaway closes!  Enter it here on this post!*************

This post is all about gratitude.  I made some thank you gifts for the gals that helped me out during my first weeks at my new job.

(click on larger image)
Orbit Gum Holders.  These are from myself and another new girl.  Lol, she bought the gum and I prettied them up!  Everything is SU!

This one was for a friend that works in a school where I was having training.  Couldn't visit her empty-handed! Just very simply wrapped with SU! ribbon and stamp that was punched out.

And last but not least:

I won a gratitude journal from Diana at DL.Art

Isn't it so cute?

Diana is a really talented artist and she made these to giveaway to her followers.  The papers are gorgeous and she used Peachy Keen stamps to decorate.  Thanks so much, Diana!

MPS National Scrapbook Day challenges # 8 - 12

Finally finished all of the MPS challenges, HOORAY!  My craft corner looks really messy, but that's OK, right!? :)  Here they are:

Challenge 8: Summer theme
This cut is from the Sugar & Spice cartridge and it's supposed to be a bib, but it looks like a jar to me!  Fruit always reminds me of summer.  Paper is from Martha Stewart's school stack.

Challenge 9: Glitz, glam, and glitter

What could be more glammy and glitzy than a huge diamond?  Cut from Indie Art and I glittered the "sparkle."

Challenge 10: Pet

This one was doing double duty and was given for Meowmy's Day to one of my friends who has an orange fur baby named Alley Cat.  Alley is the king of everything, including drawers!  Cut from Meow cartridge and "kitty kitty" chipboard piece is from my stash.

Challenge 11: Pink, green, black

This one is also doing double duty and will be given to my bestie's younger sister for her birthday this month.  She loves Hello Kitty (as do I!)  The cut is from Hello Kitty cartridge and the face is from Peachy Keen's Hello Kitty faces stamp set.  LOVE that I don't have to deal with gluing those little noses!

Challenge 12: Kids

This was my first attempt at a word book.  My God son's birthday is this month so I though I'd create him a word book.  It's supposed to say "Tanner" but now I'm noticing that a word book with more than 4 pages should be created on a 12x24 mat.  His name is just too long for 12 inches!  It was created using my Gypsy and welding the letters to the square shapes.  Here are some pages from the book:

Animal cuts from Create a Critter cartridge and bugs are 3D stickers by K&Co.

More K & Co. 3D stickers and journaling stamps are just some I got from a garage sale.

More Create a Critter and K & Co.

Wow!  Those were a lot of projects!  I did take all weekend to finish them all but I'm glad I did!  I'm caught up on birthdays and projects for the rest of the month!  Lol, but I'm sure more projects will pop up... isn't that how it always works?  Till next time, folks!
