These are the snowman soups I made this year! I've made hundreds of them and am still making hundreds more for custom orders.  All it is: cocoa, candy cane, and marshmallows with a cute little poem. I'm sure you've seen them around blogland!

Here's a few.

A new Challenge at Party Time Tuesdays!

There's a new challenge at PTT this week!  This time, make something other than a card!

Robyn's Fetish graciously sent me this cute little mummy digi to use in my project today.  I decided to shrink him down for easy Halloween tags.

Colored him slightly with a skin colored Copic marker and a grey marker for some shadows.

Layered him with a couple of Stampin Up punches onto some Robin's Nest glitter paper.  Tied it with some linen thread to Stampin Up's cellophane candy bags.  Some Reese's Pieces turns this treat into a fun Halloween candy wand!

Can't wait to see what you guys create!

P.S. I'll be back TOMORROW! :D

Bubble Gum Party Favors

I made some bubble gum party favors for a very special gal!  I needed a lot and they needed to be quick with an orange and brown theme.  I came across Angi Judas Bunny Treat Holder and used the same concept, but had to adjust the sizes to fit the bubble gum.  Here's what I came up with:

Used SU framelit die and scored the card stock to fit some Bubble Yum.  I just used a circle punch with some retired SU paper and computer generated sentiment punched out with the modern label punch.  Some retired orange ribbon tops it off.

Mmmm, BUBBLE YUM!  LOL.

Saturday Stampin Class!

On Saturday I had my 1st June Stampin Class (this Saturday is my 2nd!).  I have to split my classes into two because I live in a tiny place and my dining table can only house 4 people.  Just wanted to show you the pictures cause we made a lot of cute stuff!

Me and my gal pals.  That's my bestie on the left. :) First time crafting for her.

We made a simple 2-4-6-8 box.  Filled with chocolates, of course!

More candy! LOVE these cello bags from SU!

We watercolored a bit and did the crinkle ribbon thing...

This CAS card gets a ka-pow! with the super 3D flower.

Something a little more masculine so that gals could use it as a Father's Day card, if they wanted.

So that's it for the Saturday Stampin Class!  I'll post more pictures for the next one. :) 'Till next time!

Last day of school treats

Yesterday was the last day of school!  I wanted to sent my 6th graders off with a small treat.  My friend (who is an after school advisor), came up with a similar concept for her high schoolers.  :) I decided to scraplift her idea (thanks, Tehani!)

Just some Swedish fish in a bag and a quick printed topper.  If I had more time I would've added a hand crafted element, but these did the trick (they only tear it open right away, anyway!)

Baby Shower!

I helped throw a shower for one of my old co-workers and dear friend.  It was a surprise shower; she had no idea!  We played the clothespin game and when she walked in, she just kinda looked around and was like "why are you wearing pins?  and why is your name Onesie?"  LOL!

We always joke that the program I used to work in was the worst job in the world. LOL.  I thought it was appropriate to give out mini mixers as a prize!

This tag is so funny with it!  It's an old SU hostess set.

Some of us don't drink so I figured some bath prizes were good too.  These sets are a shower gel and a lip gloss from Philosophy at Sephora.

This stamp is from the same SU hostess stamp set.

Bath and Body Works hand soap made a good prize too.  :)

Here are the shower favors.  The local exchange had a clearance on these Tic Tacs.  I think they were only 13 cents each or something ridiculous like that.  There are tons of tutorials online on how to cover the big pack Tic Tacs.  I thought I had to make a template myself until I came across Melissa's site.  What a lifesaver!!!

Here's the cake!  Got it from the commissary.  It was SO GOOD.  And only $18!

All of us went through hell and back together.  Love these chicks (and little man!)

I also gave out "booby prizes."  Losers of the games got a gift too!  A bag of prunes, a can of Spam, a pack of ramen noodles, tapioca pudding, and the leftover clothespins.  LOL!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter, my bloggy friends!  Here's the last of my Easter projects! :)

Finally broke my Cricut free from it's hiatus!  Cut the bunny from the Live Simply cartridge.  Paper, cardstock, ribbon by SU.  Stamp by Scrappy Moms.

Entering this into Fantabulous Cricut's egg challenge.  Also Crafty Sentiment's Bunny challenge.  And Craft Your Passion's dots and stripes challenge.

I know there are no jelly beans in this goody bag, but I really wanted to use this cute stamp by Scrappy Moms!!! :)

These Cadbury eggs are a favorite of mine and my bestie.  I bought a big 1 pound bag and put half of it in a cello bag (the other half I ate... muhahahahaha!)  The sentiment is another one by Scrappy Moms.  Really got a good use out of this stamp set!

Entering this goody bag into Kaboodle Doodle's Anything but a rectangle challenge and Cute Card Thursday's candy challenge. Also entering the whole kit and kaboodle into Scrappy Mom's Easter challenge, since I used the stamps on all my projects!

Hope everyone had tons of fun today and eats lots of CANDY!  I know I will!  Love you my crafty friends!

Easter for the kids

I try to make something for my students at every major holiday.  Easter is no exception!  I figure I gave them a lot of candy for St. Pattys and for Valentine's so I was on the hunt for pencils and erasers.  Found some cute ones at our "dollar store" (everything is MORE than a dollar. LOL!) and packaged them up:

Used SU cello bags to hold the pencil.

The topper is just super simple.  A SU stamp, SU punches, and a little Easter eraser added with a glue dot.  I should have no more excuses of "I didn't do my work because I didn't have a pencil."  >_<

I work with 3 other teachers as well, so I made them this easy goody bag filled with sustaining treats!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :) I've been very crafty over the past few days, due to zombie toe. :) I made some St. Patty's day treats for my co-workers and students.  They won't receive it until Monday, but who turns down candy?! LOL.

Here's a teacher treat.  I just filled some SU cello bags with some See's candy pops.  The stamps are some cheapy ones I got last year on clearance for 13 cents! Cardstock and punches are SU.

These are for the kiddos.  I made it out of brown paper lunch sacks, because lets face it, they don't care about the packaging, just the candy.  Stamped it a few times and made a quick 'lucky' tag with another SU punch.  Sealed the bottoms with my crimper.

Tinkerbell Party

The reason why I haven't had much time as of late is because I was working on a 1st birthday for my friend's daughter.  1st birthdays are a HUGE deal here in Hawaii,  this one had 250 guests.  I already posted the invitations on THIS post.  Here's the rest of it!

The money box at the reception table.  Took 2 boxes, wrapped them in wrapping paper, hot glued them, and added a pinata to the top for decoration.  Decorated the whole thing with curling ribbon, tulle, and butterflies! (Lol, that's my husband drinking punch in the back!)

The candy buffet: Guests could make their own favors by filling up at the candy buffet!  Made the tent cards with my laser printer and SU! cardstock.

The whole table (minus the cake pops!)

The cake pops came a little later from a 3rd party company.  So cute!

Here's a large vase of mixed candy.  Decorated with a 12" Tink and a flower.  Used Tinkerbell and Friends and Accent Essentials cartridges.

Each candy had a different fairy name.  These Red Vines are mystic wands!  Printed them and punched them out with SU! punches.

Butter mints = magic candy!

M&Ms are rainbow pebbles!

Rainbow Orb lollipops.  I stuck a portion of a cut up fun noodle in a bowl, added shred, and stuck the sticks in so they could be upright.

Bags and seals were left out for the guests to make their own!

The centerpieces.  Mom of the birthday girl found a Tink money bank, so we hot glued some plastic fern to the bottom, used that good old fun noodle to stick all the lollipops and skewers into place.  Used Cricut Accent Essentials for the flower and SU! butterfly punch.

The bounce house (I didn't make this! LOL!)

Her cake!  The catering company provided the cake.  Isn't she so cute surrounded by all the faeries? :)

And the hubs and I were the first to try out the photo booth.  What a great idea for a kid's party!

I had so much fun working on this party (and only 2 months to do it in!).  Taeya is one sweet little girl and her Mom is a really good friend of mine.  To many more!

Mini candy cane snowmen

I had a big box of mini candy canes that I bought about a month ago and I totally forgot about.  I hate it when that happens!  I decided to search the web to see what I could do with them.  I came across Chris Kolly of Rubber Room Ramblings.  She made these cute (and EASY!) snowman toppers for them using Stampin Up's curly label punch, word window punch, and baby blossoms punch.  A hand-drawn face and I was ready to go!

I'm passing them out to everyone... the gate guards on base, the store clerks, bank tellers, everyone I run into!

In other news, I went to the salon yesterday to get my hair permed.  My hair cannot hold a curl at all and I figured that I would just get it over with and get a perm!  Well whaddya know, I spent 5 hours there and I still walked out with straight hair!  LOL!  My hair can't hold a perm either!  I thought it was the funniest thing.  :)

Hope everyone's Christmas week is going well!

Halloween Swag

There is never a holiday where I don't make goody bags for my God kids or my co-worker's children.  i don't have any kids of my own and I'm no longer in a classroom so I'm always thinking of excuses to give some swag!

Just the basic goodie bag that has store bought activity books, pencils, erasers, rulers, bookmarks, etc.  I'm totally into new school supplies. :)

A treat for the parents of the trick-or-treaters.  Yay for using up a spool of that 10 year old ribbon! Lol, I still have 3 more spools of it!

A treat for the co-workers.  I'm digging these new long cellophane bags from SU! Filled them with peanut butter M&Ms and added a really simple topper with SU! punches.

Housed them in my cute HK trick-or-treat bucket. :)

And that is IT on the Halloween projects! :D I guess its time to make those Thanksgiving ones! 'Till next time!

Completed Bestie's birthday gift

Here is the completed gift I gave my bestie!  I put everything in a clear paint can!

(you can click on the picture to get a GOOD VIEW!)

It needed something else, so I took the Happy Birthday sign that Donna made me from Kindred Kreations and stuck it in there.  Perfect! (I was hoarding it, but figured it would be going to a good "cause!" LOL!

The flowers were hand cut and doodled on, because to be honest, my craft desk is a mess and the other day I just wanted to cut them out by hand instead of cleaning up and then using the Cricut.  Lol! The money holder I made is stuck in the back somewhere (can you find it?).  There is also a new makeup brush set, stickers, 4 necklaces, and her favorite candies!  She loved everything! And it's something different than the same old gift wrap or bag with tissue paper.
