Cherry Blossom Sympathy Card

We all know that my "art" regarding coloring digis leaves much to be desired... so I've created my own new technique to disguise my flaws... I call it dirty watercolor! I distress sponge my digi first over the entire thing, making it muddy and brown.  Then I watercolor the image mixing colors with the muddiness, creating a vintage-y distressed look.  Look, you can't see my horrible coloring!

Now that I'm looking at it, I realize that I forgot to distress the sentiment piece.  Whoops.  The image came from Beccy's Place.  She lends her images for free, she's such a sweet woman!

'Till next time!

Looks super cute Cely! i'm sure whoever is receiving it will be touched that you made them a sympathy card rather than just bought one.

Cely, your colouring is just fine. I think you are your own worst critic. (I know because I am the same way, he he) Your card is beautiful, and very peaceful to look at, as a sympathy card should be. I hope you are holding up ok. If you just need to vent at someone feel free to reach me at my email tkgosselin@gmail.com I'm a really good listener. Hugs and Love to you and your family.
