Lia Stampz Design Team Member

There is no doubt that this month has been extremely hectic, not only in my life but also on my blog.  A death in the family, gone for 3 weeks to the mainland, blog hops, and giveaways.  I wanted to wait for the perfect moment to announce my big news because it deserves that honor.  I am so proud that I'm a part of Lia Stampz design team!

If you've never heard of LiaStampz, then now is the time to check it out!  Lia's digis are fun, quirky, and eclectic.  Wanna try it out?  There are FREEBIES on the LiaStampz blog!  I can't get enough of it and Lia is truly an AMAZING artist!  Do you know how I know that?

How stinkin' cool is this?!  She's got my asian pose, my winged eyeliner, my best friend Hello Kitty in the background, and some cute socks!  It's me in a nutshell...err...stamp jar!

I'm so honored to be a part of the design team and I can't wait to show you all the stuff myself and the other design team members have created.  Here was my entry for the design team:

Cat favor/centerpiece boxes

I had a gal contact me for some favor boxes with a cute orange kitty on it.  I've made tons of these large card stock boxes before; they are big enough for a centerpiece (put cookies or candies inside) or for a goodie bag favor (put in a juice box and bag of chips):

I got some awesome blog candy from Amber at My 3 E Scrapbooking that had some cute marine animal rub ons.  Amber is the sweetest blogger ever!  Check her blog out: she's always cracking me up with her stories of her 3 girlies (who occasionally have their cute artwork posted on her blog!)

This pink octopus rub-on was soo cute that I had to make a 4x4 card featuring her:

The package also contained some twine and a cute SU! stamp set.  Can't wait to use everything else, especially the other sea creatures.  Thanks, Amber! :D

Today marks the end of my summer.  It was LOOOONG.  :) Most of it was nice, so I guess that is a good thing.  At the start of summer, I was grateful.  I was having a hard time at this new job because I have no experience and have no clue what I'm doing!  Tomorrow I'm covering for a different position, something that I'm more comfortable with, so hopefully they can use me at something I'm good at.  *fingers crossed!*

This cut is from Smiley Cards.  After putting it together I realized the cut was supposed to be strawberry shortcake.  Lol, I guess this one is just going to have chocolate frosting on it!

Anywho, 3rd project time!

I used Best Images of 2006 for this ornament, so I'm not really sure what cartridge this originally came from (wish Provocraft would've incorporated that in their "Best of" cartridges...).  It was being a pain in the butt with not cutting properly and I wasted an entire sheet of designer paper because it just kept tearing.  I finally changed my mat and got one good cut out of it.  Everything is SU! on this one except for the stamp and embossing powder.

I felt in a gingerbread house mood!  Colored the image with SU! markers and used dazzling diamonds for the icing.
