New Challenge at Lia Stampz - Mother's Day!

There's a new challenge happening at Lia Stampz! This fortnight the theme is Mother's Day!

The winner of this challenge will get this cute digi called Gardening.  I inked it up with Copics and used my SU framelit dies to cut out the shapes.  All paper and card stock is SU.

Helllooooo! What a fun and eventful weekend! I just got all my blog candies and thank yous all packaged up.  Love this part... keeping USPS in business! LOL!

Here's my project using a Sassy Studio digital stamp:

This cute chickie is inked up with Copics.  Used some Paper Studio paper.  Purple ribbon is some cheapy dollar store stuff and the brown is by SU.  The rub-on and punches are also SU.  Spritzed her with my color spritzer tool, because honestly, I colored her in my lap on my break at work and ended up flicking Copic ink on the white paper.  LOL! Had to disguise it!

My 1st Blogaversary Hop!

Can you believe it?  My blog turned ONE! :)

I remember when I first started this blog... my husband pushed me to do it so I had a creative outlet.  I could share ideas and I could get ideas for anything and everything creative.  I met a lot of people a long the way.  Many supporters of what I (we!) do.  I cannot thank you enough for supporting and being so encouraging.  The blog world is a very interesting community, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we are all a great group of people who look out for each other.


I asked a few of my gal pals (who have inspired me along the way!), old and new friends, to be apart of this.  I hope that when you hop through today that they will inspire you as well!

The theme of this hop is PINK!!!  Here's my project:

A berry sweet 3x3 card!  Cardstocks, paper, ribbon, and ink are all SU.  The stamp set is by Fiskars.

An army of 3x3's.

A pack of pink designer paper (same ones I used on the 3x3 cards), pink card stock (hopefully I can find a box/bag big enough to hold the paper/cardstock... if not, then I'm going to have to cut it up), a pack of Simply Sent cards with pink ribbon rosettes (makes 8 cards), Up In The Air stamp set, Stampin Up dimensionals (of course I HAD to include my favorite thing in the whole world!), and a baggie of pink dew drops from The Robin's Nest.

Glitter Queen hop Day 3!

Hey guys!  I'm proud to be one of Dawn's GLITTER QUEENS!  This month a few of us are getting together and putting on a three day hop.  Hopefully this hop will inspire you to get crafty!  There are many talented ladies in this hop!  Hopefully you came on over via Anji's blog.  If you are here just to visit me (aw, you're so sweet!) you can start off at our head Queen's page (That's DAWN!)  Today kicks off our final day!

I will be using some paper that was in the Sale-a-Bration promotion.  A lot of people have gotten this as a free reward so I'm going to show you how to use it!  If you didn't make a Stampin Up purchase during SAB, no worries, I will be giving away some paper during this hop!  Read on for more!

Here's my final project:

I layered Crumb Cake cardstock on Very vanilla and used our new doily sizzlit to cut out the orange piece.  I love that I can make doilies in whatever color I want!!!  Some striped grosgrain ribbon, layered punch pieces, and a Congrats stamp from Tagtastic complete the card.

Here's my project for Day 2.  I used the new labels framelits dies with the Apothecary Art stamp set.  I colored the roses using ink and a blender pen.  

Taffeta ribbon, pearls, and a quick spritz with my spritzer tool finished it off!

Here is my 1st project, perfect for today... ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONALS DAY!!!

Here are two post-it note holders.  I got the idea from Anji Juda's blog.  

Simply decorated them with the dsp, Tagtastic stamp set, Crumb Cake ink,  a few punches, and rhinestones.

Packaged them up with SU cello bags and a mini gel pen from the dollar store.  These are going to go to the gals that work in the office at my school. :)
