Wryn Anniversary Card

Aloha blogger friends!  I had some time to make my parents a really nice Anniversary card.  :)  They'll be married 28 years on Wednesday.  I bought some Wryn images from Tiddlyinks about a month ago and never got a chance to use them.  So I picked one out and went to work!

Wryn is colored with Copics.  Cardstock is SU.  Background paper is DCWV.  Flowers are some cheapy ones from the dollar store.

Love Wryn!  She's so adorable!  I wanted to make it Spring-y so I chose pastel blues and yellows. :)

I also got them a movie theater gift card so they can go out to watch a movie and have popcorn.  :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! :) I've been very crafty over the past few days, due to zombie toe. :) I made some St. Patty's day treats for my co-workers and students.  They won't receive it until Monday, but who turns down candy?! LOL.

Here's a teacher treat.  I just filled some SU cello bags with some See's candy pops.  The stamps are some cheapy ones I got last year on clearance for 13 cents! Cardstock and punches are SU.

These are for the kiddos.  I made it out of brown paper lunch sacks, because lets face it, they don't care about the packaging, just the candy.  Stamped it a few times and made a quick 'lucky' tag with another SU punch.  Sealed the bottoms with my crimper.

My zombie toe and new challenge at Lia Stampz

I've had a smashed toe for about 5 years now.  It was ugly and discolored and honestly, I didn't think much of it because a couple of coats of pink nail polish made it look pretty normal.  LOL.  Anywho, the other night I stubbed it pretty bad and it ended up bleeding.  I went to go get it checked out by my doctor... she had to remove my toenail!!!  I was pretty sad about it.  I ended up watching part of the procedure and it looked like a Halloween special.  So now I have a zombie toe.  Bloodied, bruised, and missing a nail.  The worst part about it?  It hurts like H E double hockey sticks and I can't walk on it until Saturday.  The best part about it?  The husband is babying me and I get to eat whatever I want. :) Just today I had nachos, a teri burger, french fries, a salted caramel mocha from Starbucks, and his famous pizza pockets (made in a 1980's Snackster!) Hopefully I don't gain 20 lbs while rocking the zombie.

Anywho, it's good enough now (2 days since it happened) that I can hop to my computer and elevate it while I type.  Hooray! Which means I can tell you all about Lia Stampz' new challenge! Anything Goes plus a sentiment!

Here's my card using the digi called Winner:

Inked him up with Copics.  Paper is from a Making Memories scrapbook pack.  Cardstock and ribbon by SU.  I used a clear stamp from Impression Obsession to stamp the Congratulations across the finish line. :) I thought I was so clever.  LOL.

Can't wait to see what you guys create!  And watch out for those toes!

Monochromatic Challenge at Party Time Tuesdays!

It's Tuesday!!!!  That means there's a brand spankin' new challenge over at PTT!  This week our challenge is monochrome!

We were lucky enough to be sponsored by Robin's Nest, who gave the craft team beautiful glittered papers and dew drops to work with (they'll be our March long sponsor).  Our digis were sponsored by Spesch, Digi Stamps 4 Joy, and The Stamping Boutique.

Here's my card!

My digi is by The Stamping Boutique.  Isn't she adorable?  Her name is Fairy Cynthia - Easter.  Inked her up with just pink and yellow Copic markers.  Paper is by Robin's Nest.  Not sure if you can see it, but it has a tremendous amount of glitter on it!  :) Everything else is SU except for the stamp.

So stinkin adorable!  Thanks Cyndi!

Thank You card

Not only has Miss Dena Jones been busy with putting together all these hops that I was apart of, she also met up with me a few weeks ago to donate some craft supplies she didn't want to my classroom.  What a sweetheart!  To thank her, I made this card:

Stamp set by Fiskars called Love Latte.  Used a couple of Copics to ink it up.  Ink, ribbon, buttons, and card stock by SU.  Background paper is a scrap I had.

Thanks so much, Girlie!!!  You rock!

In other news, IT'S SPRING BREAK!  :) Well, for one of my jobs anyway.  Which means I get to sleep in next week and possibly have more time to craft! WOOHOO!  Can't wait!

There's a new challenge this week at PTT!  This time, make a card incorporating or depicting something that you find at the end of the rainbow - gold, bling, or in my case, SPARKLE!

We were honored this week to be sponsored by Robin's Nest (who sent us some beautiful paper and dew drops to try out), A Day for Daisies, and Specsh.  Here's my card featuring Robin's Nest and a digi from Specsh:

Digi by Specsh.  Isn't she so stinkin adorable?  Her name is Lamb Lolita.  Inked her up with Copics and made her dress and lamb sparkle.  Background paper and dew drops is by Robin's Nest.  Everything else is Stampin Up.

Can't wait to see what else kinda blingy things you guys come up with!  'Till next time!
